Article VIII - Staff

All the daily operations of the organization will be implemented, supervised, and directed by a team of staff members, who will receive fair compensation for their services to the best ability of the organization.

Executive Director

The Executive Director will be hired and supervised by the Board of Directors. The Executive Director has day-to-day responsibilities for the organization, including carrying out the Organization’s goals and Board policies. The Executive Director will attend all Board meetings, report on the progress of operations, answer questions of Board members and carry out the duties described in her/his/their job description. The job description will be approved by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will also have the power to commend, reprimand, correct, and fire the Executive Director, as necessary.

Other Staff    

The Executive Director will have the authority to hire or reduce staff per the Board-approved budget. Any material changes to the annual budget (e.g., new grants or other funding sources) related to staffing will be approved by the Board per the Executive Director’s quarterly Board report.
