CHNA9 is working with partners to apply for Department of Mental Health funds for a Jail Diversion Program hub and co-response clinicians in Greater Gardner. Quabbin area partners are also exploring the JDP program. These programs embed mental health clinicians in local police departments who can respond in situations when law enforcement is not appropriate and can provide follow-up coordination of services (housing, safety planning, addiction treatment, etc) through a hub of local social service providers.
